Field Crew Daily Checklist
Morning Preparation
- Review daily task notes and confirm all necessary tools present
- Verify all required hand & power tools are loaded
- Remove trash from truck interior
Pre-Trip Vehicle Check (Daily)
Before leaving the shop each morning:
- Oil level ✓
- Tire condition ✓
- Hydraulic fluid ✓
- Brakes responsive ✓
- All lights working ✓
Maintenance Tools Checklist

- 2x Rakes

- 2-3x Garbage Buckets

- 1x Loppers (keep inside truck)

- Leaf Blowers (1 per person during leaf cleanup)

Safety Protocol
VEHICLE & DRIVING
Who Can Drive
- Only crew leads and drivers designated by management
Driving Safety & Policy
- Follow traffic laws—no exceptions
- Back up slowly and use spotters when needed
- Never use phone while driving (emergency calls only)
- Request for a phone mount if needed
- If pulled over: be respectful, provide driver’s license and registration
- Report all accidents to Harold immediately (even minor fender benders)
If You're in an Accident
- Stop safely and check for injuries
- Notify Harold immediately
- Take photos of damage and scene
- Get contact info from witnesses
- Document everything & take photos of damage and scene
- Including damage, license plate, their vehicle, our vehicle and where the incident happened
- Exchange information with other driver
SAFETY & INCIDENT REPORTING
Safety is Non-Negotiable
- Report ALL hazards and incidents immediately
- If you see someone working unsafely, speak up
- No job is worth someone getting hurt
Required Safety Equipment
- Safety glasses ✓
- Work gloves ✓
- Steel-toe work boots ✓
- Rain suit (provided as needed)
- Helmet (if working at heights)
Common Safety Guidelines
- Lift with your legs, not your back
- Wear all required PPE on every job
- Never work in extreme heat without breaks and water
- Report equipment problems—don’t use broken tools
- Keep work areas clear of trip hazards
- Use equipment guards—never disable them
If Something Goes Wrong On-Site
Customer Complaint or Extra Work Request
- Don’t commit to anything on your own
- Contact your crew lead or Harold immediately via WhatsApp or call
Damage to Customer Property or Vehicle
- STOP work immediately
- Take photos from multiple angles
- Document exactly what happened
- Contact Harold right away
Equipment Fails During Service
- Contact Harold or Account Manager immediately
- Assess if you can work around it until team comes
- Contact crew lead for guidance on repair vs swap vs reschedule
Weather Delay or Job Can’t Be Completed
- Notify office via WhatsApp immediately
- Update LMN with reason and time spent
Safety Concern or Near-Miss
- Report immediately to crew lead
- Describe what happened and what could have been prevented
- Document in LMN notes

Overview
LMN is where you clock in/out, view your schedule, and document every job.

Quick Reference:
- Clock in when you arrive at shop
- Clock in again when driving to first job
- Clock in for each job task
- Clock out when job is complete
- Take before and after photos of every job
- Write clear job notes (arrival, departure, bucket usage, quality details, photos)
- Flag any issues or upsells for office to follow up
- Once uploaded, can be deleted of phones

PAY & COMPENSATION
How You Get Paid
- Schedule: Bi-weekly
- Day: Fridays
- Method: Direct deposit to your bank account
How to Check Your Pay
- Download ADP Mobile app (link in your email)
- Log in and view your pay stub
- See hours worked, deductions, and net pay
- Report any discrepancies to management immediately

Field Crew SOP's
End of Day Closing Shop SOP
Complete in order before leaving the property.
1. Secure the garage
- Close the garage door fully
- Pull the lever on the left side toward you (to the left)
- Close and lock the safety box, bottom and top
- Lights off after the garage door is confirmed closed
2. Lock all doors
- Lock every interior and exterior door — pull the handle after locking to confirm
- Double-check the bottom door — physically test it, don’t assume
- Return the mudroom door key to the lockbox and change the numbers
- Try the lever on the lockbox to confirm it’s actually locked
3. Lock the front gate + outside shed
- Lock the outside shed and give the chain a hard yank to verify
- Gate Lock – Pull it firmly toward you to set it, then lock and yank to confirm
- Chain must be as tight as possible — no gaps a person could slide through
4. Set the gate wheel brake
- Engage the brake on the gate wheel
5. Send close-out photo to Work Chat
- Take a photo of the lock & Send to Work Chat so team can arm the system
- Don’t leave the property until the photo is sent.
